Water

Our potable water system is sourced from 2 deep wells located at the base of the mountain.  Unlike surface sources, the ground provides additional filtration, so the chance of contamination is minimal.  Our two potable water reservoirs have a storage capacity of 90,000 liters.  The water utility currently maintains 2 pressure zones – one for the base mountain area and another for the higher elevation Juniper Ridge area.

Calabogie Utilities’ monitors the plant daily to ensure that the water arriving at your tap is high-quality and both potable (safe to drink) and palatable (pleasing to drink).
