Calabogie Utilities sub meters the consumption of water, electricity, gas and, in some cases, BTUs. This enables each customer to pay for just the volume of services they use, and no more. The submeters are all certified by Measurement Canada.
The sub meters are installed at or near each residence and are owned by Calabogie Utilities. They are read electronically over the internet.
